Default radiator / header tank plumbing

just plumbing in my custom rad for my WRX/ escort project,.

and just want to double check piping , there are two pipes coming from the small header tank , lower one goes into top of rad ( as a air bleed i guess for filling )

and the 2nd one is on the cap neck , assume this is just a blow off/ over pressure release , so just drains down a pipe to ground somewhere ? or is it normally plugged into somewhere ?

i knew i should have taken more photos

ps , yes its tight ,and rad is not in its final position , it will be moving forward .. but still ... not by much

Matt

It goes into the top of the plastic expansion tank down into the coolant.
