Hi guys I spent the day getting my car done for the upcoming mot and as I was driving up the road the car lost power then died (not on boost and driving slow).i got it home(towed) and set about finding the problem but nothing. I've checked the fuse's all the earth wires the plugs have spark and the fuel pump is arming and pressurising the pipes from the fuel filter.ive also cleand the crank and cam sensors and unplugged the maff to see if that was the problem but nope still stuck.the check engine light had come on but have looked on jolly green monsters site and its telling me there's no problems,any advise would be muchly appreciated

mine died the other day had to limp home found that my pipe from turbo to intercooler had blown off. worth a quick check

 

checked the alternator? or earth points, bad fuel? it been sitting long?

 

Hi guys it turns out the Ecu has gone pig,I plugged in my simtek and there is no problem so it's off to be mapped at enginetuner on the 29th
