hi. Having trouble finding the correct maf on my 2000 turbo classic. ive taken the existing one out to find the serial number of the unit. No numbers except 7605 printed on the base. anyone of you clever people got any idea? thanks

 

you go by the colour label your maf has. mines a purple label maf (97 turbo 2000) and when mine went i just got another purple label maf and it worked im not sure if all subaru's are like this but classic impreza's are.

 

when you say 2000 turbo, do you mean its a model year 2000??

classic 92-98MY are colour coded but the 99/00 cars have a cartridge insert that doesn't follow this coding

yes that will be the cartridge style required held in by 2x star drive bolts..........

 

My classic 97 is a purple lable too that's a turbo 2000
