Default v5/6 uk heads/cams vs v5/6 sti heads/cams

Can someone explain the difference between these. I want to know whats better, I have a uk turbo, is it worth changing the heads to sti? Do the sti heads give more low end power? Also if I wanted to change the heads over would I need to change wiring loom or anything like that? And would it need a map tweak after. All help and advice is appreciated

STI Heads are better (can take a bit more power)

I'm not sure what the actual differences are (lift, revs etc probably)

Wiring loom will be fine.. Remap.. I would think so.

Why do you want to change the heads??.. UK ones will be good for at least 400+

STi heads have 'better' camshafts with greater lift I think so can rev higher than UK cams ?

The valve shims and buckets are different as well (under bucket shims on STi, over bucket shims on UK) to cope with higher RPM limit I presume ?

I don't know if the valves are any bigger but they do appear to have different numbers stamped on them compared to the UK ones ?

I know they can rev higher but like I want to know is it worth changing them for sti ones? Like do you get more bhp/torque/respone/spool with the sti heads/cams.
