Default Fitting beam converters driving in Europe (RHD>LHD)

Hello there,

I need to fit a set to my Classic as without them my car is illegal over here, I got to drive through the night on Friday (I know I need them all the time for tunnels, bad weather etc)

They don't have instructions to fit them to a classic Impreza. I see a few of you do road trips, ring trips so I was wondering what you do?

Pictures of them fitted would be ideal. I have a HID kit on mine which doesn't help.

Thanks.

if you havnt got instructions you wont get a perfect fit. however, as you are facing the front of car put them on right side of lights, a little lower than mid line.

Was under impression they were not meant for HID lights, my old R32 had little switches in the head lights which changed where the beam points.

With an HID kit fitted to a classic you have absolutely NO chance of getting anything like decent cutoff.

just put somne balck tape on and hope you don't get stopped.

Never use them, never had any issue going to Le Mans etc. modern lights are set so low that I don't think it's really a issue

My classic has an aftermarket kit, probably a cheap eBay one. To me they seem very bright and I've been flashed a few times.
I'll park it up facing a wall and try to tape it off.
Thanks for the replies

Your problem is that the H4 is a b@stard contraption in HID, which CANNOT produce the sharp cutoffs needed. Given that the classic lights scattered light everywhere anyway, you are now on a loser.

Try taping it off...at least the French flics will leave you alone.
