afternoon guys
as stated in title i keep getting the silcone pipe pop off the HKS dump valve when im giving it boost, it doesnt make any noices but is effecting the boost, any ideas? ill post a couple of pics up when i get back down the car
it wouldnt be a problem with the turbo would it? ive got a 2002 jdm sti

 

You need to use a clamp or tie wrap on all boost or vacuum hoses really.

 

not had to before mate, ill give it a go though and see, just noticed when the pipe pops off the turbo kicks a load of boost out???

 

Is it the small vacuum hose or do you have it set on recirc..ie the larger hose back to the turbo inlet?

If it the small one as above just put a clip or tie wrap on it, Is the hose the one that came with the HKS DV or the standard OEM hose as the ID is larger on the OEM one

 

not sure mate, the car came with it all fitted, its the only part of the car i haven't changed lol ill cable tie it and see how it goes
