Default Steering wheel fitting problem

Hey gents hope you can help

I bought an sti steering wheel from a blobeye to fit a bugeye. I was told is needed the squib and the wheel but when I come to fit it today the squib has different mounting points and won't fit without changing the squib mounting bracket ( the white one )

Does it actually fit ?

Is the clock spring the the thing that does indicator cancel ?

If so my blob one wont fit my bug. I could if im lucky get maybe 1 screw into the white mount thats holds the indicators and such
