Hi guys

I just brought a maxi scan ecu fault code reader, this may be a silly question but is it safe to delete the fault code so the engine management light goes off. The fault is a exhaust gas sensor temperature circuit high ( p0548) I'm not concerned with it as I've just changed alot of my system to decat. Any ideas how to rectify the problem would be greatly recieved . I'm pretty sure it will keep coming on anyway until I fix it.

I just didn't want to delete it and it then affects my remapped ecu and any other of the engines standard settings.
