alright guys, now i really need your help,
a took my car to a garage today ready to take the grearbox off, and noticed there was something wrong, a little sound,
after a few hours he stripped the engine and found a bottom end failure, so the question is,
DO I REBUILD - standard or with upgraded,
OR
BUY A NEW ENGINE???
thanks

Difficult 1 to answer.
Cost is the decider however seeing as apart already why not go with a strocker kit, full rebuild poss with some further mods and have some fun.
If cost is issue then there are plenty of trust worthy traders with engines ready to go.
Take into account time off the road aswell.
All the best with it.

ive got an engine in mind ready, but i just wanted to know what would you do, as i know i can buy a stroker kit for around £1600 and then fitting, has anyone been in this situation??
expect the bill to be double that at least by the time its built if done properly. Just rememebr do it cheap do it twice.
Second hand engines are just that, proper rebuild is by far the best options.

I've been in the same situation and opted for a rebuild rather then buying an engine that i didnt know the history.
Cost is wise isnt cheap but far better option (IMO) then buying an engine that i dont know the history.
You can buy ready built engines from many engine builders here saves you time searching for parts and putting all together.
Good luck mate.
