Default 46k clutch like new!

Just had the clutch changed to an ACT HD Organic as the original clutch was potentially out of it's depth with just under 400lbft
On inspecting the original from my 03 STi with 46.5k it's virtually like new! Loads of meat left on both sides of the the friction disc with no scoring or signs of any stress and the pressure plate is totally unmarked with the original machining marks intact, the same applied to the flywheel (exchanged for re-furbed/skimmed one) The release bearing is as smooth as silk. I reckon there's at least another 40-50k of life left on it!
When I hear of people getting through a clutch in 20-30k it makes you wonder how it's treated?
If you think I do just motorway miles, you're wrong - I live in the south east which is pretty congested part of the country.
Anyone need a 6-speed clutch for very sensible money?

Paul Finch recently forged my RB320 (which is for sale by the way ) & when I changed the OE clutch out for an AP Racing organic, he said the OE clutch was like new! He couldn't believe i'd put 50k miles on it!!
He said the same for the OE flywheel, saying it was perfect & still like new!!

As you say, some of them must have hard lives...
