Default will a fully de-catted car harm the turbo?

read a few things regarding this where a car with all the cats removed will harm the turbo?

explain

No no affect on turbo. Ofcourse a remap is advised to protect other parts

It will not harm the turbo, however it will cause you to overboost if not mapped which can cause knock. When I did mine it went from the standard boost of 13.5 to 15.8 which with the standard map isn't too great....

lol did you read that on subaru swap shop.
if its mapped for it it will cause no issues.
as said above if not it can overboost which will kill the engine in the end.
