Who remembers this product ? You sorry it into an engine @ 2000rpm , loads of **** comes out of the exhaust and its meant to clean your engine out. Anyway I found some on offer at halfords - £5 per can - so I baught some to put through the mrs 120,000 mile focus. Loads of smoke later and I'm off for the test run / it deifenatly feels sharper - runs smoother - it's not just in my head you can hear the difference in the engine.

I've googled it as a few results say its just carb cleaner ( they stopped making 10k) and some say using carb cleaner in the same way had the same results. I've looked all over the can for ingredients etc but can't find any. Does anyone have any knowledge ?

Might be OK in a focus, but I wouldn't let it anywhere near a performance turbo engine, might just kill a tuned Scooby.

 

the only thing a tuned engine needs is........

-regular oil changes with good oil

-decent fuel

-looking after-no thrashing from cold and no bouncing off the rev limiter

and more important than anything else................

-no ****ty additives that cost a tenner from halfords etc

 

Not putting in my scooby I just wanted to know !

 

Next time tell them you paid £50 for it they will all want one
