Newcomer to scoobynet, looking for comments advice re buying and fitting a turbo timer.

Thanks for your help Jamie. I am currently having an alarm installed and asked about the inclusion of a timer and "the man in the shop" told me that the use of a turbo timer invalidates insurance, does anyone have experience of this. It is with particular reference to use on public roads not track days.

Don't think its a problem with insurance although I think its against the law to leave car unattended with engine running.
I have a Clifford 600 it is Thatcham Cat 1 and has a TT function built in, along with several other goodies, I still smile when as the doors lock the mirrors fold in.
