Default Dumping noise

On my old M reg Waggon it had a dumpvalve & I loved it (was a lot younger then) There is nothing like that on my 2001 bug & I wasn't going to fit one but after driving a 2005 Blobeye back from Nottingham the other day that had one fitted I am thinking I want the noise again.

Whats the best & safest way of doing it?

With the bug eye running a Mass AirFlow (MAF) sensor using a VTA can cause issues with the car over fuelling. I would say your best option would be a dual port dump valve as this would keep things nice when driving normally and would not be intrusive but when it's time for fun you would get the noise you so love. I have a dual port on my bug but might bung the recirc pipe and have both ports open as I use a MAP sensor with the ECU I run.

PS I hope you are wearing body armour as the anti-dump valve brigade will be shooting you down soon.

I actually run a turbosmart dual port, never had any issues, car running sweet!
