Default Modifying help required

I currently own a wagon with these mods on it.

2002 (52) WRX 5 door with PPP
Morette projection headlights
17" Gram Light 57c in white
215 45 17 Khumo Ecsta KU31 tyres
HSD Fully adjustable Coilovers
Mocom Racing solid drop links
STi 8 anti roll bar
VF35 Turbo
STi Intercooler and bonnet scoop
STi pink injectors
STi up-pipe
Prodrive sports cat downpipe
Ported and wrapped headers
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Green cotton panel filter
Blitz nur spec r exhaust
ECUTEK remap by Jolly Green Monster
310/290 @ Surrey RR
I bought it like this back in October last year and haven't changed anything.
Just wondering is there anything else I can do to it to upgrade power wise before spending big money
Thanks

you could add a bigger turbo induction kit and injectors and another remap even a front mount intercooler if you dont wont to add injectors maybe a uprated FPR with the above mods,or you can just get another remap and see if the mapper can extract more power with abit more boost.SJ.

but the figures you have are quite good for a WRX but most proberly you could get more power from a map tweak.SJ.

Id be tempted to leave as is and sort the handling, if you add much more power you will get close to what the gearbox will take,
as it is it`s at a level that it will take day in day out.

Hi there

You are already have VF35,STi pink injectors,STI TMIC and with those mods you should be have nice 330-350bhp.What boost you are running?
What can help is maybe decatted downpipe, not sure if FMIC would help to extract more power, but can, question is how much you can gain or you will stay where are you now

As Jura has said with those mods already you should see anywhere between330-350Bhp.The RCM induction kit with K&N filter is a top draw piece of kit and I would highly recommend it,I think though you need a map adjustment.JEN.

Hi Jason,

Thats slightly lower than I would expect that spec to be capable of, there might have been a reason (owner might have asked for now more than 310 or only 1.3bar boost) or possibly the spec has changed since it was mapped?

If you pm me the reg and any pictures of the graphs from mapping at surrey I will take a look and from that I can get the date and check my note book incase I made comment on the car.

Thanks
Simon

People are used to seeing 340 bhp from an STI, leave yours as is in it's safe zone, or risk needing to upgrade the clutch, brakes and a six speed gearbox swap.
