Default Power options on an 03 Sti

Thinking of buying an 03 STi UK with low mileage and a few mods done like an exedy clutch, rebuilt VF35, RCM filter, de-cat exhaust, 255 fuel pump.

It hasnt been mapped as the mods have only been on a couple of months and its barely done any miles so if I do buy it and were to book it in for a map what should I consider doing to it beforehand?

Engine/brakes/suspension are all fine so I can concentrate on performance enhancing parts but dont have the ££ to go for an MD321T. I will have to stick with the VF35 or similar and an open source map. I will have funds available for mods, just not a chunk of cash in 1 lump so have to take my time. The car can sit in the garage til its ready

Question is, whats needed to see 400bhp? I know the VF35 will get close to 360 in some cases but is an MD321t the only option past this point?

Advice is appreciated.
