How 2 fit forge dump valve on MY99?
#2
Akshay,
If your MY99 is the same as my MY99 STI Type-R then the forge dump valve (same as mine!) just bolts directly onto the intercooler. You should also have a blanking plug to blank off the air return from the recirc valve you will be removing. It takes about 2 minutes to change as its only 2 bolts.
Hope this helps,
Craig.

If it's a re-circ type and std air filter assembly then it probably won't, but if you fit an induction kit like a K&N or similar then you will hear the air being dumped.

Actually I just took it for a proper blast and you can hear it, but you've gotta drive like a maniac! Its not as loud as I thought it would be - apparently, it gets louder with age?
Also, I'm awaiting a replacement spring that makes it louder...
