are they the same on the classic & the newage, or are the hangers in different locations?

This looks longer than the one I bought for our Hawk and seems to have an extra bend, may be off a classic. Can you check with the seller?

2.5inch is your standard size, only two bends in this and it looks shorter, this will fit your Hawk
