My subaru wrx turbo 1995 Tommy kaira, struggled to start the other day.
Come to start it today and all im getting is ticking from start motor.
Tried to jump it from my other car and a jump pack and still only ticking.
Any ideas?
Starter motor or new battery?

 

funny enough im having the exact proble, the starer motor is fooked, bearings or brushes inside etc, i have found if you turn the ignition on/off loads of times it can trigger it to turn over, but a new starter is required

i also find mine is worse in the cold, once started and driven, it isnt as bad and turns over o.k, most the time LOL

 

Cheers for that. just had AA out and they said the same. So just orded a starter from ebay.
Lets hope this works
