I've fitted a new back box and it sounds awesome but now I'm looking at centre sections, I thought the centre section only had a resonator in it but I keep finding centre sections saying "decat centre"

Can anyone tell me exactly what's in the centre pipe? And if it is a cat, I should steer clear until I get a remap right?

Uk cars supposedly had a small 2nd cat in their centre section which is where the decat is coming from

 

You dont need a remap on removing it.
