Default Bliz NUR Spec R exhaust

My 2001 WRX has this exhaust and I want to change it as I'm a bit fed up of setting off car alarms and making small children cry when I drive by!

I believe it has the Blitz back box and centre section (both 3" I was told) with a decat pipe, which I'm guessing is 2.5"? So can I just replace it any Impreza back box and centre section with no fitting issues? I've been looking at second hand STI or Pro drive ones, are these any good and will they fit my decat?

If not what options would people suggest? I do the odd track day, such as Bedford which has low noise limits so would need it to meet these.

Also the car has been mapped with this exhaust on, will this be an issue?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

If your changing the box then you shouldn't have any problems. As long as the replacement is a 2.5 bore and for a newage, a new gasket wouldn't go a miss if the old one is looking in bad health.

Thanks for the reply Kedlestone. Just realised I have a bung supplied when I bought the car and it makes a fair difference. Do you know if there's any detrimental effects to driving around with this in (appart from it looks silly)? Just wondering if it's going to effect fuelling etc, don't want to do any damage to the car.
