Type r query

Hi does anyone know if I were to buy a 2 door type r shell would I be able to buy a 4 door one and transfer all the running gear and engine over to the 2 door shell or are they completely different?

floorpan is the same so all mechanicals would swap no problem, obviously bodywork and interior trim is specific to the 2 or 4door..........
