Is 420/430 bhp a impossible target to reach on the standard induction equipment on the newage then ?
Is anyone running over 400 bhp then ?

I believe Andy Forrest is running in the region of 400bhp with standard induction and a newage STI TMIC

A search on here or google may throw something up

Thanks for the reply . I've seen around the 385/390 bhp mark using a newage air box . I have done a couple of searches on hear but not found anything apart form people saying they should be good up to 400 bhp .

I know of at least 3 cars that have achieved 420ish on standard airbox and topmount intercooler, You need to upgrade to a K&N, cossworth or green panel filter though and at that level need a front mount to get the maximum gains.

I take it they must have been using a turbo capable of running 450/460 to get 420 ish on a std or after market top mount ?

Yep, MD321t's on all of them I think possibly none billets as it was a few years back now

Obviously it goes without saying that if they had front mounts the figures would be better and IT's lower etc....
