Default Bugeye Morrette Head Lights

Hi all

Ive noticed there's a problem with my head lights. Now this is quite confusing so bear with me

When i turn my lights on for driving there fine however theres no high beam.
If i turn my lights of and flash my high beam the normal beam flashes. Ive tested the bulbs and they both work fine. Someone suggested to me to try a relay in the headlights as this maybe the issue. Anyone else got any ideas. My mot is due so need these to be sorted asap to be honest

cheers all

it is the relay, i have posted a few times about this, there are relays fitted right up under the top of the Morrettes, i replaced them with a 35A relay, as i have HID low beams.

issue was identical to yours.

only further point is my alternator belt was on its way out and wasnt producing more than the 12.4 volts required for the HID,s to fire up.
replaced the belt and no further issues.

honestly the morrettes were a nightmare... but i like them a lot.
i also earthed the negative from the dipped beam bulb directly to the inner wing.

hope that helps.

how do you mean.... i replaced them with an ordinary fused 35A 12v dc relay.

i also mounted them outwith the light surround - i thought they may need replacing again!
