can i take the baffles (if any) out of my prodrive back box...
its a bugeye

Why would you want to?

Anything is possible, but, it'll mean cutting it open.

 

want my exhaust louder thats all.....i ve got a welder so splitting it would be no prob...that was the line i was thinking of going down

 

Buy a different back box? Don't chop up your Prodrive one

 

my freind has done this on his evo with a magnex rear box it does make it sound different and i think its a good different. also another mate done this on his frst and again that sounded lovely nice little bubble bubble on tick over

 

There is no point taking the baffle out of your back box, to start with they sound pretty good when you are outside the car, you just dont hear it in the car due to the sound deadening, probably better off taking that out of the car but the drone will get to you eventually
Just because you cannot hear it, doesnt mean its not loud

 

Has any body got a ' loud' back box to swap for my prodrive one ?
