I've got an odd intermittent issue where the stock 2004 WRX alarm triggers fully or just chirps sometimes when I start the engine. It triggers on the full ignition on point just as the engines about to turn over but stops instantly as the engine starts. Its quite irritating but I'm struggling to find anyone with a similar issue when searching. Any got any thoughts on where to start my investigation?

I'm wondering if just at the moment the starter triggers the drop in battery power is setting the alarm off. For info I run with my lights on full all the time at this time of year, day or night. Might try just using the sidelights in the day. Guessing it might just be a weak battery.
