Water Temp and Knock Info for Subaru
ToI have a Defi water temp and control, also a Knock link.
To match my while dials I managed to get a hold of a Defi controller and water temp , boost ect.
After some looking around managed to get a Knock Link
I know the water temp on the Subaru’s are dampened down so much , that when you showing near the red , its to late hence getting the gauge set.
No I have an upgraded Simtek, I suppose I can see the knock level and water temp as raw data on the Toucan.
So the above are surplus to requirements ?
Can anyone confirm I am correct before I part with them ?

you may need a couple of extra sensors for the Toucan depending on exactly what you want to view but basically that will do everything a set of gauges will do

FYI we will be introducing a new update soon with, amongst other things:
- user editing of gauge layout on the 4 pages
- a new "lean lambda" alarm (if rpm> "x", and boost >"y" then alarm if lambda is >"z")
- Alternative gear indicator with digits rather than an "H" pattern
- Lowest oil pressure marker (qualified by engine running and rpm > 600)
And for Syvecs users:
- 12 CAL support
- second EGT and lambda gauges (for S8 users)
- Fuel level gauge
- limp/cut warning/alarm with description of why the engine's in limp/cut mode
MoTeC support will be next, then we still hope to do an OBD-II version
