Intercooler pipe work?

Does it matter which way it runs? Only asking as mine seems to be a different set up to all pictures ive seen.

No it doesn't matter at all , although the shortest route is preferable

Just curious to why mine goes the other way to most. The front mount was fitted already so just never thought of a need to alter it.
