Target boost varies with engine speed but std spec D ( or any 2006 STI ) is 1bar, PPP is 1.2bar. Most remaps tend to go to 1.3bar peak and 1.2bar held to give a nice chunk of torque. They can run more peak boost, I've seen 1.45bar on some remaps but I think that's a bit high for a std engine build.

Actual maps below, standard and the map I ran on my old spec d

Cheers for that, mine is holding 1.1bar(measured via ecu output) so im neither but looking more like std Hmmm might just lift footwell carpet and see does the ecu have a prodrive casing. Ill know one way or another come april when JGM is over on our shores for a visit!

Does the PPP involve a change of ECU then ?? I thought it was just a reflash of the calibration and a sticker put onto the outside of the ECU. 1.1bar sounds like it's std to me, you can call Subaru and quote the chassis number and they can tell you if it's had PPP fitted.

The sticker on the ecu casing is what id be looking for. Tho it doesnt have any other stickers, certificates or anything so assumed it is std. Dealer couldnt see any PPP either

Does sound like its std. A good thing in my view as not sure the PPP is that good of a map, better to spend some money and have it custom remapped.
