Default 2 D/v`s fitted ?

Bloke at work on his turbo motor says he has 2 HKS d/v`s, said he liked the quality etc of them but it wasnt loud enough so he got 1 cheap and fitted it, just T`d off the pipes required and said its mint, is he pulling my pisser ?

i know you could get twin dump valve kits for a r5 gt turbo back in the day, i dont think its any louder than one, unless its a twin turbo,my mates rs4 had 2, but youve obviously got two lots of air to get rid of on a tein turbo

Seen two on a twin turbo but never on a single.

If anything it would make it quieter as the excess air is shared between both valves.

They used to do this with Punto GT's - normally with Collins dump valves - one fitted before the intercooler and one after. Don't think there was any gain from it, they just used to make a nice chattering noise
