how low is it ok to drive on

If it's showing on the dipstick then I wouldn't drive it, but the question we need to know is how much is it using? Plus oil is cheap enough for a litre, easy to buy some more

it's very low tbh! showing 9-10mm up from the bottom of the dipstick, not even at the L marker! am useing millers 10w-60 CFS! can only get it online as far as I'm aware! some should of came thro the post yesterday but what with the snow made it hard

i would get it topped up with some equivalent oil to what you are already using.. not worth the risk to drive anything low on oil.

Don't drive your car mate just in case. Not worth the risk to your engine. If desperate use similar oil not none.
