All they do is make a noise and can make the car not run very well. This is because metred air that the ecu has registered is being sent to atmos rather than back into the inlet system,so has an effect on fueling

Bit of a marmite question on here chap but if you want to fit a VTA BOV then most new kits come with a blanking plug for the recirc pipe, I know Turbosmart do at least.

Can only speak from personal experience but had one on mine with no ill effects for years but changing back to recirc now for a change.

You hate seeing the same thread comming up , you give the same reply.

For all those who dont like dump valves , or the threads , why not simply ignore them ?

That's what I now do.

And I also refuse to offer help or advice to anyone with problems who has one fitted.

Forge recirculating ftw. With an aftermarket induction which most will have if they are using a fmic you get a nice discreet noise when flat out and hardly any noise when driving normally.
I've had them all when I was younger bailey, forge atmospheric, Hks ssqv and blitz they drive me up the wall. I especially hate seeing a really well sorted track car and watching a video with pitishhhhhh or eeeeeeeeeeee every ****ing second.
Each to own though.

Just be careful of the txt speak too , you already have the DV police on your case , and if you think they are bad . . . . . . .

No its not the wastegate as yours in internally gated turbo so you wont get any noise from it really . Its air coming back through the turbo's inlet when you close the throttle. You get it on cars without a dump valve or the incorrect dumpvalve fitted (wrong spring in the valve itself)

The wastegate jobs is to control boost.

Must get a sticker made up "DV POLICE" and some flashing lights CharlieSkunkweed.

you are right about the text talk , **** me its annoying

I skipped through the replies, and as per usual you will have been shot down

What Im finding confusing though is the above, you have a 05 bugeye ? 2005 was the blobeye, with 2006 seeing the introduction of the hawkeye for sure, unless it been converted to a bugeye

Whatever you decide to do is up to you, I personally would not bother with aftermarket DV's, unless you pay for a good en, in which case you may aswell spend the money that a good en would cost on getting your car tweaked for performance, and not fecking around causing hinderance
