Default Rustproofing fluids

Gents somebody advised a particular type of rustproofer that was way better than the usual waxoil that ive used over the years,ive lost the link though - would anybody remember the make ?

Bilt hamer is the best on the market

Check out detailing world there is a full section dedicated to it with tips how to use it lots of different products for different rust problems and prevention

Dinitrol is very big over here.... and the weather here makes cars rust rather quicker then most places.

I have used the above brands for removing/treating light rust then painted and finally coated in Hammerite with added Waxoyl. Holding up well so far (3 years).

Waxoyl tends to get a bad rep from people not prepping properly before coating it on. Needs to be clean and dry and any rust removed/treated

Haven't got any experience with it but i heard of POR-15 multiple times and a guy i know used it on his track project AE-86 and it looked like decent stuff. Just throwing it out there ... haven't got any "real" reviews.

Dinitrol is also well known in these regions.

just taken the rear subframe and diff carriers out and of to the blaster - i like the look of the bilt hammer i think il flood it with that - my cars a my99 and extremely well cared for by myself over the years but you wouldnt believe the corrosion under there
