Turbo Timers

Do most people use Turbo Timers, or do people like I do at present just sit in their motors a little while after a good run?
I usually don't mind this at the weekend, but after a good run to work (and the clock ticking) it sometimes must look a little crazy when I turn up, then proceed to just sit in my car for 2-3 mins!!
Also, I have an alarm/immobiliser which locks the doors etc.
Can you use a Turbo Timer in conjunction.. (it's not a Clifford by the way which I have heard can be used as a timer!)

i know exactly what you mean.
i usually make a phone call as i get to work so that i don't look such an **** sitting in the car with the engine running.

Personally even if i had a Turbo Timer fitted i would still sit in teh car until it shut it down anyway, so i just keep the car off boost for the last 2/3 minutes then let it idle another 1 - 2 minutes.

I know i don't drive a 'preza but the C*v's turboed all the same! Personally i drive the last 3-4 miles of my journey off boost and then leave the car to idle for approximately 45 seconds.

Carbon is VERY good at cutting through metal, especially turbine blades that spin at 100,000RPM+.... boom goes your turbo."
He is also a Cav Turbo owner and member here. Just some food for thought for all you 'preza drivers!

A turbo timer is a good investment and is interesting to see how high you can get it.You will be amazed how quickly it resets. The other cool thing is leaving it running (locked & no keys in ign) & watching the wierd looks from people. I never leave it running too far out of my site, if someone did try for it the engine automatically dies if the handbrake is released. It looks cool in the dash.
Edited to add- average cool down on an 'off boost' run home is 30sec.
