New Blitz Induction Kit ;-> ;-> ;->
#1
Things started badly yesterday, after I removed the old air box and started to fit the new kit I found that the cone backing plate / bracket bolt holes did not match my MAF! Drilling 4 new holes and using 4 bolts with good washers to block the unwanted ones, the kit was fitted and ready to go.
Oh my GOD! What a noise. Massive induction sucking on acceleration and best of all a hudge woooosh on dump. I've only got the standard UK97 dump valve and did not expect this. Must have been doing this before but the release of recirculated air propably got stiffled by soggy old filter and inner wing.
Don't know if it's any quicker, can't concenterate on my speed due to the noise! Makes my Magnex back box and centre sound good to.
Does anybody know what kind of power I should expect:
Running 97 octane on an ECU thats used to running 95 (can't reset as can't find the plugs)
Magnex back and decat centre with resonator
Blitz induction kit
Dawes set to about 16PSI
18 Super L's (which make it look faster ;->
Will I get more if I can reset my ECU?
Sorry for the excited drivel...........
