Default heat reducing spacer

as above is it worth getting a heat reducing spacer kit for my bugeye wrx for reliability or is it a gimmick?

Speak to Alyn at as performance I got mine few weeks ago I didn't get the spacer I got 4 mm thermal inlet gaskets there

They cut down on heat transfer from the ( engine) heads through to the inlet manifold , (reducing heat soak into the manifold ) which in turn keeps the air in the manifold cooler
