My MY00 UK Turbo has developed a rattle or more accuratly a knock from the door, it seems to be coming from right by my right ear at the B pillar so I'm guessing its from the latch.

I've noticed that the door hinges have dropped a little on the door.

The knock is most prevelent of bumpy roads and generally doesn't happen at all of perfectly smooth roads.

Is there a repair (i.e. new hinges or latch) or adjustment possible or is it just a matter of turning the music up!!

 

My driver door does it to. Mine alot worst when window half down

 

Removal of the doorcard is a five minute job. That would allow you to check that all is tight and as it should be.

Also suspect the seatbelt top anchor bolt.
