Replacement key for 04 WRX
Need a little help please
I bought my 04 wrx a few months ago with only one key.
It's the single button one. I want a 2nd key just incase but Subaru quoted over £350
If I buy a 2nd hand one off ebay then get a new blade cut (also on Ebay) will the blade fit straight in? Also when it comes to programing it to the car can I just use the code *17856*91*2# then press the button.
Any help would be great.

Nope for the coding. Yes thats how the fob is coded to lock/unlock the doors. The engine would still not start as the chip will need coding to the ecu. Most mappers can/will code it for a small fee
