2005 STI PPP Exhaust Upgrade?
Hi Guys
Would just a change in backbox give me a deeper burble, if so what?
I have an opportunity to buy a Ninja2 rear silencer but keep reading its not that much louder than the PPP?

i have a cobra/scoobyclinic exhaust on mine and its mega loud! but depends on style i guess. if u do buy one get it from cobra there 20% cheaper than getting it from scoobyclinic for the exact same exhaust. or try a revolution system. factory sound on idle and when pottering about and bit of the roar when ya giving it the beans. not loud enough for me but its down to personal preference

with the Ninja 2 would you say its hearable in the cabin as hate that about the prodrive, having to have the window down to enjoy the sound, im now unable to buy a blitz as my hours have been moved from 6 to 3 so i recken my neighbours will get annoyed
Thanks

I changed my Prodrive back box for a Ninja one thinking it would give me the louder burble as the Prodrive was too quiet for my liking but the difference was non-existent TBH.
I was told I needed to get rid of the resonator in the middle section for a straight through pipe & this did the trick. Now it's just to my liking!
