Unhappy No Power!

Hi Everyone, need some help!

I have a 1999 Turbo 2000. Ive had this probelm for a while now (6 months)

My car seems down on power and not really boosting. There are no engine codes and ive replaced a few things to see if it would help.

They are as follows:

New exedy clutch, Fuel pump, GDK Iridium spark plugs, air filter, oil and oil filter, fuel filter. Cleaned the MAF Sensor (with MAF cleaner).

I always run my car on Tesco 99 or Shell V-Power.

Ive taken it to my local garage for 2 new tyres and also asked them to look into this problem. they said a good service would probably sort it out and they didnt really know why it was down on power.

Ive recently given it a full service with spark plugs, filters and the lot!

Still no joy

can anyone help please?

Default airleak

vacum hose perhaps, need check petrol pump pressure, poss injector blocked that would be like a dead plug rough as bollocks. if it drives ok off boost it more turbo related, wastegate? on turbo not functioning opening propearly.and also a dead car battery can cause certain probs like erratic idle at stand still. servicing only covers diffrent areas and not the problem at hand.its like my work place if spindle drive is broke they assume a service will correct it lol!!!!

poleposition , thwaites , central subaru , simon jolly green monster ,duncan graham these will see u rite. 1st 3 garages in midlands area.

Might be your actuator, my last car had a similar problem, I first thought i had just gotten used to the power but when i put it on a dyno i was only boosting at 0.6bar.

new actuator sorted it.

I wouldnt recommend cleaning a 99 maf. They are fairly fragile.

Worth replacing it with a new one from subaru for a start off.

Hi Guy's thanks for the replies!
Ive just attatched a boost gauge to the manifold and im getting no boost!
the only time it does boost is when it hits 5,000rpm and it's only showing 0.25 BAR!

any ideas?
