Default smelly heater

hi guys , brought my car a few months back now and still getting a dirty water smell through the heater , a little background = its a w plate uk ,last owner said car had been standing a fair few months, air con removed ( up to bulkhead ) no pollen filter , changed thermostat and bleed system as it was stickin when brought it . it does it most when its warm and you turn engine off then back on, you seem to get a right good blast lol . its got no issues with water loss or water in oil , overheating etc , any ideas please
