Default CDB?

Hi

Just a quick one, I was under the car yesterday and noticed that the block had hatching on it. I think I read somewhere that this means it is a CDB, or have I got it the wrong way round?

Cheers

I dont think so. If it's around the oil pump then I think you are in luck!

SCDB have hatchings (my ej207 has), I think if they continue under the alternator (mine doesn't) then its a proper CDB.

No such thing as a dumb question!

How more stupid would you feel ripping the block apart only to find it an ODB!?
