So,i have bought some universal ones as none of my local stockists have the correct ones and the ones online will take too long to get here and im not always in to receive parcels.

Anyhoo, since the old ones are split, i cannot tell what used to be in there, lube wise, now, do i fill the boot up with an EP90 oil or do i smear on some grease onto the pinion bit the boot protects ?

cheers guys

Its just a dust seal. You don't fill in with oil, just replace ripped worn ones and get motoring again

as above, if you have oil in your old gaiter you rack is on its way out.
