Default went to reset my ecu but.....

one of the green plugs is missing and the wireing looks like its been played with :/ so without knowing what im doing... i dont want to touch it! is there any other way of resetting the ecu? just uprated my fuel pump due to low preasure, so wanted the car to 'learn' the new settings and clear any fault codes ???

What year is it m8 if it has a obd socket clear it that way if not take battery leads off get someone to sit in the car put leads together get someone to press the brake that should clear all static out of the loom and should reset the ecu
REMEMBER REMOVE BOTH LEADS FROM BATTRY BEFORE YOU TOUCH THE LEADS TOGETHER

It's 1995, what's a OBD socket?

OBD is the on board diagnostics port.
