Default Sooner spool possible for my Bug ?

Hi guys well i went for a ride in my mates Hawkeye and wow spool so quick ! is it possible to get the same affect from a bigger turbo like Blouch Billet XTR 420 BHP (20G Hybrid) or sc46 billet a descent remap? ive got a JDM sti bug, seem so much lag after being in the Hawkeye
was going to get a conversion done a couple of months ago to have twin scroll but going to cost more then getting a bigger turbo +remap

Cheers Rob

Bigger turbo usually means more lag im affraid, the twin scroll are the first to spool,
only other option you have is NOS.

if you are running Twin scroll, you have few options on the nice and spooly Twin scroll turbos like LM400 or LM420,MDX321T Twin Scroll or SC42 or SC46 or new Owen Development Twin Scroll Turbo, which looking like great turbo

https://www.scoobynet.com/923692-twi...-billet-5.html

We are run single scroll MDX321T and we are made just above 490bhp with 480Lb-ft torque and on the road we are hit full boost at 3rd gear(on 5speed PPG) at around 4k RPM

You will never get the same kind of response that the T20 gets with its twin scroll turbo on a single scroll car, you can keep similar going for what you are looking at now but the only way to get the kind of response you want is to go twin scroll.

Blouch Billet XTR should be good on yours with good spool up

MDX321T is second option which is great and have nice spool up on the STi

We are run MDX321T and we are been very happy with this turbo on our wagon

Hi Rob

Not sure, but think is very similar to the SC40(ScoobyClinic and Blouch both developed together XTR range)

I would speak with Neil@Slowboy Racing about the best option on the turbo upgrade,we are always speak with Neil about the turbo upgrades and his recommendations has been proven as best

We are run MDX321T and must admit,we are loved this turbo
