Hi all,

fairly new to the scene, i have a 51 reg euro import (rhd) bugeye wrx wagon (manual, air con)

my radiator is gone i think, but as far as i can tell the bugeye rad shouldn't have a radiator cap, mine does!
engine code s ej205, radiator is aluminium, with a calsonic sticker on the top.
does anyone know of this, whether to get a newage (blobeye on) rad, or just get a bugeye rad without a cap?

how would i check the difference in fitment?

I had the capless one on my bug, and it was replaced at a later date with the one with a cap on.

cool, did you do that yourself?
i take it you fitted a rad designed for a later model, is fitment the same? or does it involve some adjustment?

if you go to the right place they just supply you with the correct radiator.

It was fitted by a Subaru dealer. I thought it strange the first time I popped the bonnet after it was done!
