Dont paint in 2k. Use a waterbase base then a clear coat. Where are you getting the paint? You should only use old 2k on bikes and classic cars. Are you painting the whole car?

I am a painter by trade and I woudnt use it. It's also illegal to use these days unless it's a classic or a bike build, the finish and durability it much better on the modern waterbase systems.

Sorry I should put this another way. I am not dissing 2k paints, I'm just not used them, and was taught from imi and thatcham about their disadvantages. Back to the paint code, I would suggest Subaru but being an import I'm not sure if they would have the information. Most paints with have a dark shade, light shad, blue shade ECT, have you tried the standox website?
