Removal of air con bits behind the dash
I've just taken my dash out to remove the bulkhead sound proofing mat which I've read weighs a fair bit on my MY00 UK Classic. While I've got access, are there any leftover air con bits behind there that can be removed? My car didn't come with air con from the factory but I remember reading the dash and air con bits go in as one on the production line, so all cars, aircon or not, will have them.
Pics will also be a big help.

This removal is part of a complete weight saving program of the entire car, plus, with the dash already out it's a golden opportunity to remove it.

air con was an option.
it's suprising heavy it all is when you take the tme to weigh everything up but most people remove it to allow more space so the IM can be flipped.
have a look at my project thread there are some photos of both the removal of the engine bay gubbins and swapping the heater matrix under the dash for a non-aircon version.
