hey all, for the 1st time today i drove without music and when i drove through my local town 20mph on very smooth road, as soon as i get to crawling speed i can hear a like knock from the pass rear wheel area, its only present at crawling speed in gear or neutral, if anyone can shed some light for me please?

Sounds like strut knock to me. It's the chocolate strut grease they use which goes hard and waxy over time.
Lots of how to's about, and the grease nipple mod etc.
Plus, being in neutral probably outrules any diff probs.
That could be the problem actually! But would I not hear it more offen? Never witnessed the noises so sorry if its a dumb question, also I do have a squeek from that suspension just put it down to a dry top mount!

I hear mine sometimes, but not all the time - depends on how the car is feeling I think lol!
It's my N/S/R that I can hear too. So common, and only a matter of time before the O/S/R one starts knocking no doubt.
I had a 54 plate Type UK STi blob 5/6 years ago now, and that had the exact same problem that my 07/07 Spec D has.
You'd have thought that they'd have sorted this grease problem out by now!!
its the strut knocking common fault but harmless, either put up with it, replace with new strut or use it as an excuse for coilovers which is what i did.
