Default Gearbox or Engine first?

Mr car is getting agonisingly close to being done body wise so it will be back to the mechanical work soon.

I'm doing a gearbox change and engine, what I'm wondeing is which is easiest/most sensible:

Do I drop the engine in first and then do the box etc, or vice versus? i.e is it easier to mount a box to a fitted engine, or an engine to a fitted box?

Cheers

JH

I would put the box in then when ready to drop engine in
It will slot straight in if you lift the gearbox slightly
